so what can i do except to complain???

i've realized that i never tell you guys about my love story eh?
it started 8 years ago, believe it or not.
bloody hell, i feel old already lahh. haha.
if you happen to hear from any of my cousins, they will tell you a very embarrassing story!
so dun listen to them. hahah!
tsk, thanks to Bie lahh for tampering the most beautiful love story. hahah! ok not true!

anyhoo, mine was a rebound one. at first.
but slowly it turn out to be loovvveeee. hee.
& i guess for Bie it would be love at first sight right bie???
heahea.. cousins shhhhh!! hah!

i first met Bie was during my brother Sec 1 orientation in 2000. our school just merged so i had to come down to accompany him to see the school. the new campus (Westlake) to be exact.
so was walking out of the hall, i saw this cute (to me lahh!! haha!) chinese looking guy wearing his school tie walking towards me.
i was trying to get his attention lahhh but! he held his head high wor! like action like that!
prefect whhaattt! kanasai. haha.
then, i curse him silently, that one day he will fall head over heels in love with me.
wahahahahha! dun believe me? i really did that lor. chet. tsk. tsk. tsk.
oookkkayyy maybe not curse lahh. too harsh a word. maybe, maybe i accidentally put a spell on him. hahahaha. i went to Hogwarts what, you dun know meh? hahhaa.

okok back to story..
after that we did not see each other again as Braddellites & Westlakers remain in their own schools.
so on my 4th year (2001), principal decided to make Upper Secs situated at Westlake & Lower Sec at Braddell. to make us friends la kononnye. hah.
we met again when we had the same malay class. he sat at the left side of the room & me on the right side nevertheless, on the same row.

at that moment, i was with an ex (same class as me). got a huge infactuation with him since sec 1. so dun even care about those new boys.
a few months later, he dumped me for a Westlake girl which apparently is Bie's so called 'sister' in the same malay class as well. i was really down at that time. reaaallly sad i tell you.

at the same time, my good friend, lets call her A. was really happy coz she found a new crush! guess who?? of coz Bie lahhh! cute & tall & noisy & funny. hahhaa. i was like, 'go and try your luck lahh. maybe he also like you..' hahaha. u noe lahh ehh school girls saw their crush & goes giggly-ga-ga-ga-ga. haha. somehow, rumours fly that my friend A like Bie.
i was still nursing a broken heart when during of one the class, A told me with a sad face that she dun like Bie anymore. i asked why & she say becoz Bie like me. i was shocked.
THEN, everybody i know insist that i take him as a potential boyfriend! funny eh? from A, my group of close friend & his friends. interesting ehh? hahaa.

did they know that i'm gonna last with him?? *shrugs*
destiny and all... no one knows

Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince!!!

guess what?

David Yates did not really live up to the expectation after doing an OK one at Order of Pheonix.

alot of the scene has been changed.
example? the part where Narcissca & Bellatrix Lestrange running towards Severus Snape house becoz of her son, Draco Malfoy. the Unbreakable Vow should be said by Narcissa herself not Bellatrix. dun understand why that part changed.

but that's always the case isn't it?

truly, i'm baffled coz the one part where i really hope to see its not there AT ALL. its where Dumbledore Army (u noe if u watch the last one) duel with the Death Eaters during Dumbeldore's last scene. it should have been a big fight there. dun understand why that part was omitted too. tsk. oh & of coz Dumbledore's funeral. & of coz they miss the part why Snape call himself Half Blood Prince. tsk. tsk.

i mean i know they running for time but still it could have been great. now i know why many people say its boring especially the ones who watch it for the first time. i guess the need to explain everything is crucial for those who do not know thus the alot of talking.

i guess its difficult to interpret a very magical book to a movie. it needs a magical / creative imagination to work. not i'm saying that the director its not creative. he's great but the best part he omitted? bad move.
big disappointment? yes it is.

but i'm a big Harry Potter fan. i can only hope that the last installment will be at least be good.
& maybe, maybe Sam Raimi of Spiderman movies can do that? heh. or Michael Bay of Transformers?? hah. cross my finger & hope for the best? :)

although the movie is a disappointment to me, i am still very much in love with your books. i love Harry, i love Ron & i love Hermoine. hell, i do even love Draco Malfoy. heesh.

i'm truly sad that the 7th book is the end of Harry Potter adventures. i wish there was more. let say up to 50 books? hahaha. i know, crazy fan i am.

i really could not get enough of your books that i'm reading Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows the 2nd time. 1st time borrowed from my cousin & now i bought it at $10 to read it again. thankfully BF is supportive enough to buy for me. hah! & i'm planning to buy the first 3 books as well for my collection. hee.

that day after watching Half Blood Prince, me, BF,my brother & sisters all were saying that we wanted to join the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizard. BF & sis keep practicing the Disarm Spell, Explliarmus using Fork & Spoon's chopstick. see how fanatic we are? haha.

Jodi Picoult is one good writer. she really do her research first before writing her books. although this book is FULL of medical terms which i do not understand, it is still considered good. the ending is really sad. so i have to watch this movie. & Cameron Diaz is surprisingly the mother to both girls seen here. i'm excited to see how she act!

sorry for the lack of entry readers!!

since i'm back from Gold Coast, i'm in no mood to blog. guess why? coz i've a 1000+ photos. how to blog u tell me?? but then, i'm not being fair to those who wanna see the pictures. heh. so give me some more time to update that overdue post alright? not all pictures will be up but at least some to goggle at. hee.

last weekend i went cycling at East Coast with my 2 dear lil sisters. since at home there's nothing to do, we went out to celebrate YOUTH DAY!! yani told me her teacher say 30yrs & below is still considered youth. you think so? hmm, maybe they should entitle the PH to below 30. make it official. heh.

cheyyy.. i did not see a ghost lor.. its only a curtain. hahahah... suspend only.. but still why on earth my little nephew cried of fright?? why?? for that, i did not have any answers. only he knows.

well, Bf moved in. & nothing of sorts happening. insyallah nothing will happened.

23 May 2009, Saturday.

Bf fetch me from work using his company 14 feet lorry. went to my Father's house in Yishun to help moved the sofa to my stepmum's sis house in Boon Lay. after sending the sofa & seeing the Twins (my stepmum's sis just gave birth to Twins!), we went to Bf's house to take his new house key. Bf's sis bought a new house in Taman Jurong, a five room executive flat. they will be moving house this Tuesday. its a big house with a very nice balcony. & finally Bf has his own room. yippee! so after taking the keys, we proceed to the new house. the time shows at about 10pm++. we were all excited to see his new house but apparently there is no lights yet. renovation is still being done. the only light that can be switched on is Bf's room. so we walked in to see the rooms in darkness, with only Bf's small torchlight.

after wow-ing at the balcony, we went to the master bedroom with Bf leading. the room is totally dark even i feel its TOO DARK. but all was so excited that they rushed in after Bf. i followed. in the room, there is a platform below the window & to the right, there is a small room for a walk-in wadrobe which leads to the bathroom. they all were busy-ing wow-ing (again) at the bathroom, while i keep wondering, why is there a curtain like hanging in the middle of the window frame. i mean, they are renovating right, there shoudn't be any curtains. i stared for awhile (at that thing) but suddenly, i feel like i shouldn't stare. its not nice to stare rriigghhtt?? i looked down immediately. then, little Amin started to cry, saying, 'takot, takot.. die da datang..' means he scared, the thing is coming.... *gulps*

well but seriously, i did not feel my hairs standing up my neck, you know what they say if the presence is there, you feel the hairs at your neck goes up. i was cool. little Amin insist on going out the flat so mother & son went down to the lorry to wait for us. after that, Bf & father & Haqim continue seeing the kitchen. for me i just stood at the doorway as the kitchen looks eerily scary. really. so after inspection, we go out & went back to the lorry. Father says that he also feels their presence at the master bedroom & the kitchen & he thinks that the thing followed us down. *shivers*

i was sitting in the lorry cabin with little Amin which already calmed down, while Bf & Haqim smokes. he kept saying 'ape tu, ape tu..' pointing outside to the second storey window. i ask him what? he says, 'momok' (ghost). i was convinced that thing followed us down as what my Father says. after that, we proceed to eat Boon Lay's best Nasi Lemak, leaving all that scary thoughts behind. but Bf was worried. really worried that i sympathise with him. who wants a thing in their new house???

we went back to Yishun to eat our late dinner & talk more about it. we talked about it again during our journey home to Toa Payoh. i told Haqim & Bf that i saw a curtain in the master bedroom but both of them DENIED seeing anything at the window frame. scary you think? i got the chills. i mean i do see it in the middle of the window frame & its long and thick. how could anyone not see it?? Haqim convinced me that i just saw a ghost.

whatever it is, i'm going to ask the others whether they saw the curtain like today. we are going back there to help Bf & his family to move their stuffs. so i will take pictures of it. who knows, my eyes is playing tricks on me. but of course, why would little Amin scream of fright?? small children are prone to seeing these things right?

you will be the judge for the strange happening.

meanwhile i take a shower & wait for Bf to pick us up to go back that house... his new house..

school holiday is coming. & if everything goes smoothly, i will be going Gold Coast in June. at the moment there's a hiccup. so not confirm yet. *prays everything will be ok*

& apparently, a few MORE hiccups happening. work, finance, home & future. bahhh! nothing seems to go smoothly now. i'm amazed that before i take that second big step, things really beginning to get toughen. dugaan they say. fuhhh. i cannot imagine how it will be once i cross over that step. scary thoughts if you ask me. *shivers*

whatever it is, i'm determine to cross over & go up. so do Bf. just wish us good luck.

seriously, the attraction of blogging has wear off. i'm just too busy + lazy to update everything. really. maybe, maybe..i will close this blog down. the big possibility is there. OR i will move somewhere that can be privatised. i mean there are some things you can't share with the world. i do not need everybody to keep track of my everyday thingy.

anyhoo, i'm so EXCITED. i will be having a looooong holiday! yiPPee! for CNY, our office will be close from 24Jan-29Jan. business will resume on 30Jan. how cool is that? super! hopefully got alotz of plans. picnics for both side of the family! & anyone wanna date me?? hah. BF will be working this holiday so i'm free. heh. so call me. hee.

Bintan trip is good. although the food & the stuffs there is freaking expensive. all in SGD. chet! the straw bag i bought in Bali for like $5, in Bintan its freaking $30! crazy! bleargh. but the sea is good. the beach is realllly good. very nice scenary and all. the resorts itself is good. overall is good except for the currency. i went for the ATV, all terrain vehicle. syiok seh! it was exhilarating! *grins* i wish could play it again. maybe in Batam? cheaper. pixes? hmmm... i have uploaded it in my facebook. u can see there. i don't think i'm gonna upload it here. leceh. for those in facebook, can add me aite?

45mins more to my holidays! PPC is dead. not much ppl here. all busy shopping for their new year. hmmm.. ok i guess thats it.

so what are you guys up to for the weekends? me? nothing much. except that tonight will be meeting Fid, Azura & Kenet at Vivo. another lepak-ing session. woohoo. & tmrw maybe a stroll to the Punggol Park with my beloved granny. been asking me to take her out so yeah. out we'll go. oh! anybody has any idea where to get a cheap frame walking stick??? my granny needs it. or if you happen to know that somewhere sells second hand, pls, pls do let me know. your help is very much appreciated. *smile with teeth*

i'm thinking of working part-time.. what you think?? for extra income. as you all already know, the economy is bad & who knows, my company will cut my pay since the government encourages all employer to do so. bleuk. *roll eyes*

ya, cut pay but expenses getting higher. are you mad or something??? grrrr. so what choice of job do i have? strictly night shift coz i will still be working with my current employer. 7-eleven? cheers? banquet? what??? seriously like there is not much night job. ok do not even think about soliciting coz omg! i won't stoop that low for extra income. *roll eyes* for the future, i don't mind really. so again, any of you, yes YOU!, got any recommendations for jobs pls let me know. atur2 sayur pun jadi lahh.. hahaha..

hey'all. guess what? i feel totally sick. not sure whhyyy but i think be'coz i pretended to be sick yesterday to get MC that i'm sick today. get it? they say, retribution. haix.

so at work now, blogging away. waiting for the clock to strike 5 & i'm out of here. meeting Azura & Kenet at Orchard. Yanty couldn't make it as she will be working night shift. so yeahh, it will be three of us, lepak-ing..

it will be another week without the bosses here. freedom! yessss! boss & lady boss is out of town for their honeymoon in Europe. for 2 weeks! heaven i tell you. hah. hopefully when they come back i will get my bonus. hooppeeffuulllyyyyy...

sorry my blog getting dull. i got tons of pixes but then i can't be uploading pixes at work right? so juz chill & wait for the good stuff to come. hahha. nonsense.

anyhoo, i will be going to Hong Kong in Feb. guess with who??? Yanty & Widah. ok, Widah is Yanty's friend. so yeahh only 3 of us. asked Michelle but she can't. asked Azura and she can't too. so no choice only 3 musketeers. will be going for 6D5N & to Macau & Zhuhai (China) too. i hope it will be a blassttt! weee~~~~~ & we got alotz of plan to travel, me & Yanty. in April, if everything is good, we will be going down to KL for some clubbing scenes. stricly gerls only. apparently all is ok except Fid of coz. big NO from the fiancee. & hopefully end of the year, to somewhere nice too.

ok since im SOOO free right now & the pixes are available, might as well update bout the Xmas lunch we had at Furama City Centre for the Appliers. my company xmas lunch.

we actually decided to do a party but approval from boss is rejected. so instead, lady boss suggested to us to eat together at a Hotel. so boss apparently agreed. phew! means half-day for us. wee~~~ so about 1230pm off we go. next door to my workplace...

ok no food pictures coz this pixes from my colleague. strictly Appliers. heh. so wondering what food they served? btw, its Halal. they served japanese, western & fusion. if i'm not wrong.. for desserts they have chocolate fondue, ice creams, cakes, brownies & many more.. to me the food are ok. so you all can give it a try. per head on normal days is about $20+++.

ohhh, dresscode for that particular day is Red & Gold. apparently all wear red. hah.

2008 RESOLUTION:

1. Nenek to get well soon. - she's recovering really well now. alhamdulilah. but still can't walk yet. insyallah in times to come, she will back up and running. heh.

2. To be successful in the TOURISM line. - errrr this.. i'm still in the same line though. not yet successful but maybe this resolution is for the long term.

3. BIGGER PAY. - sadly no. no increment. & no bonus yet! grrrrr!

4. Earn enough money to travel around the world. - since no increment, i still will travel. hah. Bintan in Jan & Hong Kong in Feb. yesssssssss!

5. Expanding my wadrobe. - errr still need to expand.

6. To be a better person. Not selfish. Hardworking. - errrr i'm still selfish according to Bf & today i took MC. hardworking??? hahahaha.

7. To learn to cook. - hahahhaha! still not yet! errr this year definitely. hah.

8.To improve relationship with BF. No more childish fight and misunderstanding. - definitely improving. our love never stops growing. but still alots of STUPID fights. grrrrr.

9.To save money for THE wedding. - on the wayyyyyyyyyyy. wish me luck!

10. Last but not least, to EXERCISE. - definitely NO. i dun think i ever exercise last yr. i'm FAT!

so how? ridiculous right??? hahaah. i noe. *roll eyes*

so for 2009 Resolution, i will make it short & simple.

hey y'all!

how's your Hari Raya?? mine not too bad. eventhough, its not like the last years. but it was ok. reason?

Malam Raya, 30th September 2008, Tuesday.

after werk (half-day), met up with Bie to go Tanjong Katong Complex to get my Baju Raya since we went to Johor i could not find anything to my liking. so went there and grab my Pink Baju Kebaya which cost me a bomb but thanks to my Bie, he offered to pay half. heh. thanks ya darling. *winks* after that we went to Mustafa Center to get us or rather me, a camera. bought myself a Casio Exilim in Vivid Pink. *yippee* hee.

after that, called Ayah, asked him where is he & asked him to pick us up at Mustafa. Alhamdulilah we manage to get a lorry for Raya. but! skali lorry kandang dey! hahah!

it was terr-ri-ble! bahhh! all of us perspires like a pig in there. no air, no air...

Ayah picked us up at about 630pm and unfortunantely, we were caught in a heavy jam. hea-vy. we saw Yasin Restaurant at Bendemeer there and stopped to break our fast. break our fast with Murtabak and Mee goreng & Milo Godzilla! hah! su-pper nice i tell you.

i was finishing my Kway Teow Goreng. listening to the Takbir Raya when Ayah received a call. i was watching him the whole time. he was talking when suddenly, he says, "Allahu Akbar, okok aku datang sekarang". i asked him why? he broke down and cried. i was shocked & nearly choked on my food. apparently, Cik Oli called and say Nenek is sick. tenat. leaving the food behind, Bie paid for all and off we go to Yishun to fetch my bro & sis to Nenek house in Tampines. upon reaching there, all aunties & uncles & cousins are present. went straight to Nenek's room and there she is, lying on the bed with blanket covering her. she was really sick. couldn't even speak. everybody was crying but Ayah was the worst. he nearly vomitted. the atmosphere was really sad, what's more its the Malam Raya. Takbir was commanding in TVs & radios. we decided to send Nenek to hospital and called the ambulance. we stayed there till about midnite? maybe. i can't remember.

1st Day Raya, 1st October 2008, Wednesday.

after visiting Cik Effa's mum, we went to Changi General Hospital to visit Nenek. all were there except Cik Jan & Family. after a short while visit, all of us went our separate ways. definitely not like lasts years. did not gather at Nenek's house. everything was mundane.

Second Raya, i supposed to werk. but took MC instead. i lose my voice after a week of sore throat & 1 full day of cookies & gasy drinks. sit at home & sleep. at night met Hubby & we watch House Bunny for free since we have free admission for 2 at Cathay. heh.

3rd Day Raya, went to werk. werk till 8pm and went straight home. wore my white & black kebaya with black pants. collegues says i look beautiful on that day. hah! beautiful eh?

4th Day Raya, 4th October 2008, Saturday.

went visiting with all the relatives. but started off late coz Ayah last minute take lorry. tis time lorry open air. hah! better. wore my pink kebaya with Bie.

woaahh. Lebaran its like in 2 days time? Ramadhan indeed flies verryy fast. in the process of fasting & werking, kind of not ready YET for the Lebaran. i mean, i have yet to feel the excitement of Raya. although shoes, bag & my green kebaya is ready for THE DAY but still i'm lacking of the enthusiasm. getting old maybe?? and unfortunately, Lebaran falls on a Wednesday. i'm back to werk on Thursday & Friday. -___-'

i hope the weekends will be a blast since we all (Yaman Family) will be going out to collect!! weee~~~ hah. okok maybe not the adults but the children. Lebaran for us family, will be full of cam-whoring. hah. hopefully. but Ayah could not find us a transport. A lorry to be exact coz need to put in alot of our family members. errr..ok actually only my family & Cik Jah's family since the others have cars. but netherless, all are welcome to sit at the lorry to get the fresh air. hah. there goes my glamour hair on that day. errr, ok we still have not get the lorry so skip that hair thingy part. hah.

so have you guys get ur bajus yet?? i have still not get another baju which i'm supposed to be pairing with Bie. strreessss! tomorrow last day to get it. bahhh! at first we chose RED for our bajus but last minute, could not get NICE baju kurung in RED for Bie, we decide on PINK! hahah! back at PINK again. hahah. but its ok, my favourite colour so doesn't matter how many bajus is in PINK. heh. and it will be great for Kak In's wedding! yeah. heh. finally got something to wear on her wedding. great. the only thing is i have not get the baju yet. errrmmm.. hopefully tomorrow the baju still there? errr.. insyallah.

went JB with Mummy, 2 lil sis & Bie to shop! main aim is to find my Baju but to no avail. grrrr. so we shopped for other things, like brooch, songkok for bro, bags, shoes for lil sis and so many more. not much pix though. i was busy searching for the things. walked the whole of Plaza Angsana & Plaza KotaRaya. heesh. kaki longgar seh. when its time to break our fast, we could NOT find any seats at all. every where, each table is fully booked. in the end, we bought a few of this and that and break our fast tepi longkang. hah. sadly, thats the only place we see its available. nasib bersih. phew!

the last iftar i had with my friends is on this very date. met up with Fid & Fir, Kenet & Awal, Azura & Partner (forget the name?) & of coz, me & Bie. our purpose is actually to let our BFs to mingle around so that our up-coming Jalan Raya to go smoothly. i mean, at least they can talk among themselves and not go bored. heh. its actually quite good la seh! Fir & Hamzah can click. so its good. Kenet's Bf is ok too. they can talk. only person who doesn't talk is Azura's Bf. he was quite all the time. and we gerls, definitely the kecoh-est! the gerls i have known for TEN years. how time flies very fast?? the next thing we knew, all of us forming our own families in a few years time. heh. can't wait to see the juniors us. hah. how cute will that be?? hahahaha.

went iftar-ing with my beloved campus mates at Ramen Ten, Harbourfront. met with Nurul Neea, Zakiah Ashlee and Jing! sadly, Fara couldnt make as she got family probs. Fara we muz buke together ok?? plan!!

i ate tomyum beef ramen which is starting to be my favourite dish there! yummy! BUT! the service was damn poor. the 'naive' gerl take my order wrongly 2 times!!! i even point my finger at the pic in the menu but in the end, they gave me tomyum dry ramen. like what the hell?? after told the gerl and the next gerl gave me teriyaki beef ramen. ????? tomyum? teriyaki?? pekak ke pe??? isyk. i complained and finally, when the rest finished eating, i got my food right. tsk.tsk. what a service. even Jing got the food wrong but she juz ate it. totally not coming back. urgghh.

its the month of Ramadhan.

im totally excited. reaalllyyyy excited.

Firstly, i will be going home at 7pm for the month of September. so 11-7pm. yes! so who-ever wanna break fast with me, can do so but only near to my work place will do. coz very far will make me go hungggrryyyy. hah. well near my werk place, there is Swensens, MacD, Long John, Burger King...errrr i think tats all. hah. boring! nvr mind la.. ok i hope to meet most of my gfs for some buka-ing puasa. and of coz, my family members! kacang pool or belado??? *drools* last but not least, hoping to meet my twinnie. but since you can't go out, y dun i go ur hse and buka puase??? hah. but like tat only sat or sun. hmm..

ok nvr mind. Secondly y im excited, is becoz Geylang Bazaar is opening tmrw!! yeay! dengdeng anyone??? come on, only on fasting month eating dengdeng got the excited feeling of fasting! get me?? nvr mind. & air kathira? woah tats my bro's favourite! he will surely buy tat if he drop by Geylang. and there's alot of baju rayas selling and its shopping time! woots~woots~ im so gonna get myself a pair of baju kurung or kebaya, preferably baju kurung same as Hubby! yippee! although Geylang Bazaar is ALWAYS pack with shoppers, i still like going there. maybe becoz of the environment, kemeriahan nye. sungguh syiok! hah. but dun ever break fast there! hah! wun get to eat on time la sey. aniwaes, hopefully my dad get to rent lorry or sumthing so we can go down as a big family with my aunties & uncles, cousins & all. fun! weeee~~~~~~

Thirdly, after a month of fasting is the Hari Raya! food, gatherings, outings, new clothes & glamour! hah! u noe wat i mean. heesh. im sounding like a small kid seh! hahah. well, both of this months are my joy. im always looking forward to it. shall not elaborate any further coz ppl will say, blom puase da ckp pasal raya! hah! so later part will talk further. *winks*

& do U noe that dates (kurma) are good? if we eat it before we have our food in the morning (sahur), dates gives us the energy to go thru the day? yes it is. it is full of calories and its healthy! a person who are sick, cancer or heart attack, should eat kurma everyday. insyallah it can make the person better. so people, lets eat alot of them shall we?

Bie fetched me from werk on the day but unfortunately, i was held back at werk till 830pm! so there goes my plan. -___-' and sum more it was drizzling. chet! so Bie suggest we watch movie. and we headed to VivoCity since its near to my werk place and we're running out of time. upon reaching, we bump into Bie's fren and suddenly realised, that we are watching the same movie and seated next to each other. -_____-'

we watch 4BIA. a very terrifying movie.

First on the menu is Yongyoot Thongkongtoon’s “Happiness”, who is probably better known for directing action comedies such as The Iron Ladies and Metrosexual. Here director Thongkongtoon, who also wrote the segment, begins the story rather innocuously with a young woman, confined to her apartment with a broken leg in a cast after surviving a horrific car crash. Alone and lonely, she grabs the chance to make contact with a stranger who starts texting her. Things get creepy when she sends him her picture and he in turn sends her his. Thongkongtoon’s greatest achievement in “Happiness” is how he successfully builds up an atmosphere of uneasy and dread without any dialogue. Instead of resorting to narration or voiceover, we simply read the exchange of messages on screen as they are received. All this adds up to a very satisfying climax that manages to tie up the various elements in the story nicely.

Next up is Paween Purikitpanya (Body #19)’s “Tit For Tat”, which coming after “Happiness” may be a rather jarring change. While “Happiness” is content to take its time building up its story, “Tit For Tat” thrusts its viewers straight into the story of a kid who returns to exact vengeance using black magic on a gang of bullies.While this is no killjoy, “Tit For Tat” is probably the weakest of the lot. Its Saw-like frenetic shots and schizophrenic editing can get quite grating after a while, and it borders on an overdose of CGI in its climax. Thankfully, though, it proceeds at a gallop so it still makes for a gripping and intense piece of work. Coming after the occasionally nauseating “Tit For Tat” is the refreshing crowd-pleaser “In The Middle”.

The story begins at night with four friends on a rafting trip in a tent outdoors who, like most people would do to kill time in the wild, start telling each other ghost stories. Each of them ends up joking about what they would do if they turned up dead, with one of them saying that he would haunt the person sleeping in the middle, hence the title. The next day, while out rafting, their boat capsizes. Only three of them manage to make it out alive, and by nightfall, they give up the search for their missing friend. But soon after they try to fall asleep, their friend returns. However, they are confronted with the nagging fear that their friend may very well be dead. Scripted and directed by one-half of the “Shutter” duo Banjong Pisanthanakun, “In The Middle” delights with its well delineated characters. It is not easy to create characters that audiences can easily recognize within half an hour, let alone four. But Pisanthankun has done just that, giving each character a uniquely distinctive personality. “In The Middle” also benefits tremendously from Pisanthankun’s clever blend of humour and suspense. He deftly alludes to clichés often used in modern day horror movies, and even though audiences may think that they are one step ahead of the story, he manages to deliver a satisfying jolt at the end. My personal favourite, I would go so far as to say that this segment alone is worth the price of admission.

The final course of the meal is Shutter’s other half, Parkpoom Wongpoom’s “Last Fright”. A deliberate pun on the word “flight”, it tells the story of a flight attendant Pim who is summoned back to work on a royal flight for a princess who is having marital difficulties. Not to spoil the surprise, things get personal and testy between them during the flight. The princess dies unexpectedly the next day and Pim finds herself escorting the princess’ body back. Suffice to say that turbulence will not the only thing that goes bump on the flight.“Last Fright” is definitely not the best of the four, but it maximises its unique setting on board a turbulence-rocked empty plane. The claustrophobic inducing setting enhances the sense of dread and helplessness that Pim faces and is probably the best thing that this closing segment has going for it. While the story may seem pedestrian, it still is a solidly made piece of work.As far as horror anthologies go, 4Bia is easily one of the best of its kind. Perhaps also because of their brevity, each of the four segments are always engaging and the sum of it all is one of the most accomplished Thai horror movies of late.

today im feeling reaallly under the weather. so glooommyy. abit here & there problems surfacing. i really do not know how to handle all this emotions. its overwhelming. i realllyyy feel like crying and letting it out but by crying, will the problems vanish as it mysteriously appear? 100% guranteed it will not. die-die i have to overcome it. haix. everyday i pray to GOD to give me the strength to overcome all this problems. its not easy, you know. i have to deal with rude people, worrying mum & granny, not understanding peoples (!!) and my indecisive me. how? but maybe, mayybee im worrying too much. haix.

enough of my gloomy-ness.

life has its up and downs. i have myself gone thru hell when i was younger. well actually hell started when i was 10 years old up till i was 16. before i met my lovesss. i cannot describe wat i have gone thru. only god noes how i felt. shall not elaborate coz its something personal that i dun think the blogger world need to noe bout my childhood. i can only say i come from a broken family.

watever happened in the past, it makes me a stronger person now. a blessing in disguise, i muz say. well, to go thru sadness, pain or simply said, depression at a young age is depressing right?? it makes me open my eyes wide-wide that life is not perfect. although y, i wonder other families can hold it together for.. forever and y not mine? i got no answer for that. everything happens for a reason, i noe. truth to be told, i think im a better person now. it makes me see the world clearly and be mindful of others. i juz pray for a better future. really hopefully prays.

ended werk about 45mins late. BF was patiently waiting for me. heh. sorry ya dear. last minute customer asked me to wait for them. after im out from the office, we went to buy some bread to fill my so empty stomach while waiting for Yani. my lil' sis apparently went to Sentosa with her friends to celebrate her bdae. so we waited for awhile den decided to wait for her at Bishan instead since she juz finished with her swimming. den off we went to Bishan and den, we waited for bro, Hafiz. main tunggu2 pulakk. while waiting we camwhored.

all of us scolded him, and he keep repeating saying sorry. not our rezeki i guess. and mummy had to buy another meal for the person at home. so i was thinking here, how deng he can be when Yani took this above pix. baaahhhhhh! i look fat. -_-

aniwaes, after tat all is good. no point in being angry. we r having fun tat day. but still it can be prevented la... *rolls eyes*

its the weekend! yessssssssssss! at last. fuuhh. past few days been a hectic one at werk. so damn bussssyyyy. n,n tmrw is my advert in Berita Harian! aaahhhhh! wat if no one calls? okok relax..

heya! im back!

been really busy these past 2 days at werk. fuhh. alotz of phone calls. i guess business is picking up again as Natas is only this weekend. for you guys who do not noe what Natas is, its actually an event for travelling. hmmm. ya for travelling. it happen twice a year and it is usually held at the Singapore Expo. for this year its on the 1-3 Aug. do check it out if you wanna travel, aite? or you can call me. heh. my company will not be participating at the Expo but we will be Natas-ing at our office in People's Park Centre. so you can drop by and look for me. hee. i will give you the best price. reallly. oh! for any of you guys who wanna travel during this National Day period, can email me. i got some blocked seats to Bangkok & HongKong. :)

ok good news! my advert will be on Berita Harian this Saturday! hah! its small though. and its in english! ahah. so do look out for it. monday has always been bluey. bleargghh. was so lazy to go to werk today. i had to basically drag my ass to werk. hah. bedek. correction. to the toilet. heh. actually i was suupppeeerrr late to werk lor. so i was rushing like mad. i was literally, pushing my way out of many people at the mrt. cause of lateness? fickle-mindedness. i have already ironed out my shirt to wear but then, at the moment decided to wear another shirt, so i ironed the other shirt. and i was taking my own sweet time to iron and make up. bleaarrggh! im so indecisive! i can change my clothes up to 3 times before i decide its ok to go out wearing that. -_- i noe. crap. bad habit la. tsk.

supposedly to meet Mas for lunch today but last minute, she got plan to see her bf. its abit rushing for her therefore, our lunch date is postpone to tmrw! :) hope its not troubling you , ya Masy-Masy? Chinatown is far you noe! and,and... our date with Shasha is cancelled too. how sad. but nxt time maybe? aniwaes, its my small sis bday! 02 Aug! so back-up plan is use! we shall go out k my siblings? its time for some sibling lovess! yippee! hope Hafiz is available though.

Libra. so far, it does sound like me so i think its true. only the daily horoscope, its abit sceptical. sumtimes what they predict for that day, well it did not turn up that way.but its great for everyday read though. at werk, if i finished my werk and i got nothing to do, i will read my horoscope. and, and guess what it says today??

i juz came back from movie-ing wit Bie at Eng Wah Toa Payoh.

Dark Knight was awesome. i looovvedd it!

Heath Ledger acted reaalllyy good.

and i think the movie is great. it makes me sit at the edge of my seat. 2 thumbs up! hell, i gif 4 thumbs up ah! hah!

definitely a movie worth watching. do catch it ya?

after werk, met Bie and off we went to visit Nenek at Changi Hospital. my dad's mum. i hope she will get well soon despite the stories tat i heard from dad. insyallah she will get thru this. and of coz to see my cousin's oncoming wedding tis October. insyallah. *prays hard*

after tat, Haqim n Yani followed me n Hubby back home. and of coz, took the opportunity to camwhore with my NEW phone. heh. i'm loving every moment of it. although there is some functions tat are not really good. but i'm not complaining! thanks eh Bie. hee. at the spur of the moment, i had the craziest idea to go down to Mas's mum's catering job while i was sms-ing with her on tat particular day. a sudden craving for nasi minyak is the reason. Bie was rewang-ing at his cousin's wedding too butwill not be meeting me after tat. Mas invited me over and i came. semangat la sey. Toa Payoh to Pasir Ris. heh.

reached there about 4.30pm. ate our lunch (yummy!) and den we kepo-kepo there for awhile to see the bride n groom. about 5 to 6pm, Mas invited me to her hse. we sat there talking den blog-hopping den youtube-ing, laughing our ass off and eee-ing and gawking at some random videos. haha. about 8pm decide to go home and b4 going home, we took photos together.

i looked realll fat in tis pix! baaaahhh~

while Mas was setting the camera, she ter-press the button n it caught me smiling. hah!

after werk, met BF for our little anniversary date. went to Swensen for our lunch cum dinner at Bugis. and guess wat?? their service is really poor lor. i noe its the peak period where alotz of ppl coming in but service is service riight? i had to wait for my desserts for nearly an hour! imagine sitting there waiting mcm budak bodoh den the servers juz pass us like nothing happened. i had to asked twice! wth! asked for the bill oso can take so looong! urrggh. kinda spoilt my mood then.

but of coz, the food and the desserts are damn nice! finger licking good! yum-yum..

BUT not at Bugis branch for sure! urrghh.

followed Mummy to Uncle's hse to take Nenek home. She been there for 2 months aredi. my auntie is damn tired for sure, taking care of her non-stop. u noe y? my Nenek is sick. she got stroke. she can't walk anymore. so all day long at the bed. chit chatting for awhile den realised Nenek have an appointment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital the next day so Auntie says she will drop Nenek at my hse after the appointment.

Reno's engagement was yesterday. went to his hse with MasAjehh, Nizam&Dian and Juizhar. ate abit and they chit chat abit and off we went.

den me n Mas off to our Brownies&Donuts date. heh. this is the first time i'm seeing her face to face since hmm, May we started chatting? ya arnd there. heh.

(1 is for BF!) den continue to City Hall for our Donuts! tot of eating JCO since Mas never try before and i, tried once in KL. skali, the queue was damn long and there is no seats for us pun. so we went to Donut Factory. and surprise,surprise the queue not that long but no seats! its juz the outlet. hmph. so fikir punye fikir, we decided to walk to Suntec. hah! i think we walked quite abit, summore Mas was in heels! slamat i wear sandals. heh.

finally reached the Donut Factory and ape lagik, we ate donuts la. bought 2 donuts each and we ate as we talk. we sat there till its time for us to go. BF meeting me at City Hall mrt station to watch movie..

saturdays have become a relaxing day for us, apple-liers (hah! sembarang je!). no customers. less phone calls. its the low season. hopefully it will pick up nxt mnth coz i think i'm lacking behind in the sales target. urgghh. not a good position i muz say. wat ever will the boss n lady boss say?? but!! i like today! coz no bosses around. hehe. they are in Shanghai at the moment. holiday-ing i guess. so ya, lazing arnd browsing the internet. taking advantage? not really. heh. can't wait for 5pm to arrive. faster can??

i'm feeling much better today. except the bloody ear still stuck. stupid inflammation. and of coz, the cough and the running nose. doctor says i have bacteria in my blood and thats the cause of the bloody sickness. my father has already been discharged from the hospital today. and my grandma, not really sure. i have not visit her yet since the past few day i was sick. hopefully, tmrw we could see her. the bloody bacteria make us sick! urrgghh. and i'm not sure whether its air-borne or something we ate. maybe the durians. or the sukon. *shrugs* no idea. the past few days of sickness was horrible. at one point i cried like hell as i was in pain. the stupid inflammation lor. nasib Bie was there to comfort me and take care of me. he took urgent leave juz to take care of me. he so sweet la. and he even paid for my medical bills which costs $80! bankrupt matair aku. hee. but i love u dear. thanks so much for taking care of me. *noisy kisses*

today is such a boring day! sleepy too!
